Amazon Expedition Cruises offers cruises and expeditions on the
Amazon River and some of the most beautiful and seldom visited tributaries out of the city of
Iquitos,
Peru.
Join us on one of our river journeys and be amazed by
the incredible flora and fauna to be observed from the comfort
of our own Expedition cruise ship, the
M/F ARAPAIMA.
Explore
small, distant rivers and tributaries, hike and learn about the always surrounding rainforest and
get to be familiar with
Native Indian tribes and locals from the region. Our professional
English speaking Naturalist guides will take you
on shore excursions by day and night explaining about the river and
forest and the many species of wildlife and flora that can be found
here.

Eco-expedition cruise programs
aboard the M/F Arapaima are designed to give guests a
distinct, in-depth journey through the greatest wilderness
on earth, a better understanding of ancient cultures, and an
appreciation for the region's wildlife and scenery.
So come, join and share with us one of our eco-expedition
cruises into the heart of the Amazon and explore the
breath-taking beauty of river and jungle in one of the
World’s most untouched and magnificent rainforest that will
make a difference to you, and to the areas we visit. |
The M/F ARAPAIMA cruises provide passengers a unique glimpse at the
Peruvian Amazon River and rainforest through visits to Indian
villages, primary and secondary jungle hikes at day and night,
bird-watching and piranha fishing excursions using our ecological
outboard powered aluminum shore boats. Local Amazon naturalist
English speaking guides with years of experience in Amazon
Rainforest Ecology help passengers discover more sights than they
can during our Amazon River cruise programs.
Designed exclusively for sailing
along the Mighty Amazon River and its tributaries, the M/F ARAPAIMA cruise vessel,
with a shallow draft of only 3.5 feet, allows passengers to visit
remote black water lakes, lagoons, creeks, and channels normally
inaccessible to other boats. |
